CNBLUE's First Japan Album Ranks Number 1 on Oricon Weekly Chart!

Group CNBLUE has reached the top on the Oricon Weekly Chart.

CNBLUE's first Japan album, CODE NAME BLUE, which released on August 29, ranked number 1 on the Oricon Weekly Chart and sold 44,000 copies.

CNBLUE's popularity in Japan could be seen at the beginning of this year when their second single, Where You Are, ranked number 1 for the first time in 41 years as a foreigner on the single weekly chart.

CNBLUE commented, "We are so happy for everyone's support. We want to thank everyone that listens and enjoys our music. We are happy that both us and our junior artists FTISLAND, have both ranked number 1 on the oricon charts."

FNC Entertainment commented that CNBLUE is the third to rank number 1 on the charts, after FTISLAND and actor Jang Keun Suk.

Starting in October, CNBLUE will be going on their Japan tour, 'CNBLUE Arena Tour 2012~COME ON'.
