Yang Hyun Suk, "Money is not Important for Psy's U.S. Debut"

Yang Hyun Suk stated, "Money is not important." YG Entertainment's CEO Yang Hyun Suk believes that they must think wisely about his future in the U.S.

Psy has finally signed a contract to debut in the states. Psy will be working with Justin Bieber's manager Scooter Braun.

Yang Hyun Suk commented, "This is something I've never imagined would happen. Psy has beat all other top artists in Korea. Psy's "Gangnam Style" has reached over 100 million views on YouTube in just 52 days. Now that says a lot."

Psy's YouTube view record is the first for a Korean artist. His popularity from his song and music video has allowed him to receive this contract.

Yang Hyun Suk also stated that we must first love and create our music from the heart  in order for the public to love it too. Psy's music video was not made intentionally to please anyone. It was just made from Psy's original ideas and passion. It was most likely due to his genuine mindset that people began to gain interest.

He also stated that it is more important that a korean artist has gone overseas rather than the song gaining popularity.

He also adds that money is not of importance at this point. Due to Psy's first step into the U.S. market, he will also be making an easier path for other K-Pop artists who want to debut overseas as well.

In the midst of all the culture differences, it is truly music that speaks to all parts of the world.
