UFC champ Ronda Rousey called previous champion Gina Carano the hottest female athlete in the world. Henry Cavill's girlfriend, meanwhile, has yet to respond to the compliment.

A video from TMZ, shows the undefeated MMA fighter being asked who she thinks are the most "bangable" male and female athletes out there.

"I don't know... you have any suggestions?" She solicited suggestions from the reporters surrounding her. Names like Peyton Manning, David Beckham, Tom Brady, Christiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi came up.

"Ronaldo is a pretty man, let's go with Ronaldo," she said.

Then she was asked who she thinks is the hottest female, besides her.

"The hottest chick athlete... ? Gina Carano," UFC champ Ronda Rousey added.  

"It's unconfirmed if word of Rousey's compliment has reached the Portuguese footballer's ears," Sports World said. "Perhaps he might even want to stop by ringside during Rousey's next title fight."

Undefeated UFC champ Ronda Rousey will next fight Cat Zingano on January 3 during Las Vegas' UFC 182. But her name has been linked to Gina Carano, who was instrumental in the UFC paving the way for women fighters in the octagon.

Gina Carano last fought in UFC on August 15, 2009 where she was defeated by Cristiane "Cyborg" Justino. But she is slowly carving a name for herself in Hollywood, particularly with the breakout performance in "Rampage." Her movie credits also included "Fast & the Furious 6" and "In The Blood."

But Henry Cavill's girlfriend is very open to getting back on the ring, even to face Ronda Rousey.

Former UFC champ Gina Carano told Fox Sports that she never officially announced that she's retiring.

"I've never retired. I've never officially said that. For some reason a part of me has always kept it open," she said. "I don't know, there's a certain part of me that thinks if circumstances were right, and I could keep doing what I'm trying to make my future into, that's an ideal world. If circumstances were right, you never know. I'm very open to it."
