Lee Joon made a confession about his family backgrounds.

In SBS "Strong Heart" aired today, MBLAQ Lee Joon came out and said, "My family used to be very poor. It was to the point where I couldn't go to my school trip because we couldn't afford it. After watching Lee Yong Woo's stage, I decided to go into dancing. So I went into Seoul Art High School."

But Lee Joon had started his dancing career relatively late, and his family was not well-off, so he was a loner among his friends. With one dancing outfit and a single pair of worn out dancing shoes, Lee Joon said that he smelled because he had to wear his dancing outfit that was not dry from the day before.

Lee Joon said, "It hurt my pride. I stayed behind every day to practice. I went in as the lowest, but by the time I graduated, I was 2nd place in school. I even got into the best art school in Korea, the Korea National University of Arts. It wasn't until then that my friends started seeing me differently."
