Monday marks another exciting episode of "Yowamushi Pedal" season two, "Grande Road." Episode 8, entitled "Arakita" continues with the final race of Inter-High and answers the question of whether Onoda Sakamichi will be left behind by his team. The episode was simulcast via Crunchyroll but for fans without subscriptions, below are two links to websites where you can watch the episode for free online.

Synopsis:

The episode opens with the leaders being approached by the pack of the rest of the race. Onoda pedals for his life and tries to grab onto Naruko's hand, but is sadly absorbed into the pack. Meanwhile, the remaining leaders fear the approach of Hiroshima and his pack. Onoda being the good teammate that he is vows to catch up if only to prevent Hiroshima from hurting the rest of his team. He tries to ask other racers for help but is ultimately rejected.

Arakita regrets his mistakes over the earlier part of the race as he zips through the rest of the pack. Onoda chases after him and admires that Hakone Academy racers try to ride fair despite their mean personalities. After exchanging a few words, Arakita agrees to work with Onoda. Manami joins their partnership and they all race to catch up with Hiroshima.

Arakita comments on Onoda's horrible racing form but Manami then takes the lead of their tiny group and blocks the wind for Onoda and Arakita. Arakita then recalls his conversation Fuku about rescuing Manami if he falls behind. Arakita get's some last wind and they burst downhill and ride as close as possible to the inside.

Thanks to Arakita, Onoda gets back to his teammates in the front of the pack. But instead of stopping to chat, Arakita races even further forward and catches Machimiya's group.
