Lady Gaga Slams Suggestion By Ke$ha’s Lawyer That Dr. Luke Was The Producer Who Raped Her When She Was 19
Lady Gaga bravely admitted on The Howard Stern Show this morning that she had been raped by a music producer when she was 19-years-old.
Later in the day, however, lawyer Mark Geragos suggested that the alleged rapist was none other than Dr. Luke, the renowned producer who Geragos' client Ke$ha has accused of rape and further abuse. Now both Gaga and Dr. Luke are striking back at the allegation, denying Geragos' version of the story.
"I went through some horrific things that I'm able to laugh [at] now, because I've gone through a lot of mental and physical therapy and emotional therapy to heal over the years," Gaga explained on Stern's show this morning. "But, you know, I was a shell of my former self at one point [after the assault]. I was not myself. To be fair, I was about 19. I went to Catholic school and then all this crazy stuff happened, and I was going, 'Oh, is this just the way adults are?'...I was very naïve."
After Gaga told her traumatic story, Geragos made a comment on Twitter suggesting who the music star's rapist may have been.
Guess who the rapists was? https://t.co/MTg0vSE3rr

Geragos's client Ke$ha has sued her longtime producer Dr. Luke and accused him of raping her and abusing her throughout the years that they have worked together. The lawyer continued with his Twitter comments on Lady Gaga's situation, clearly implying that Dr. Luke had been the culprit.

However, in a statement reported by TMZ and E! News, Gaga's publicist flatly denied that Dr. Luke was his client's attacker.
"This ridiculous, manufactured link between Lady Gaga and the Kesha-Dr. Luke lawsuit is utterly incomprehensible. This simply isn't true and how dare someone take advantage of such a sensitive matter," said Gaga's publicist.
Dr. Luke has slammed the implication made by Geragos as well.
"Mark Geragos' statement is completely false and defamatory," a rep for the producer, whose real name is Lukasz Gottwald, told E! News. "Luke met Lady Gaga twice for less than half an hour total in those two meetings combined. He has never been alone with her and never touched her. Neither meeting was in that time frame reported."
