Whitney Houston Tributes To Be Released Throughout November

This November will bring a number of longer and more deliberate tributes to Whitney Houston, who died suddenly in February and gave rise to many immediate and short tributes including at that weekend's Grammy Awards.

On November 16th, CBS will broadcast "We Will Always Love You: A Grammy Salute to Whitney Houston," which is an hour-long primetime special that reflects on Houston's music with the help of stars like Jennifer Hudson, Usher and many otheres. It will be taped at LA's Nokia Theater on October 11th.

That week, a new collection of her biggest hits titled "I Will Always Love You: The Best of Whitney Houston" will also be released, including a total of 18 songs. A deluxe version of the song collection will feature five other duets with artists like Aretha Franklin, Jermaine Jackson, Teddy Pendergrass, Cece Winans, and her mother Cissy Houston.

Finally, November will end on the release of Whitney: Tribute to an Icon, which is an official photo book due on November 27. Part of the proceeds of the book will support Teen Summit, one of Houston's favorite charities.

The rest of the money will go towards supporting Houston's daughter Bobbi Kristina.
