INFINITE member L shared his ambition as an actor at the press conference for MBC's sitcom "What is Mom" on Wednesday.

L first ventured into acting with a lead role in the Japanese TV series "Jiu." Then he was cast in tvN's "Shut UP Flower Boy Band" in the beginning of this year and is currently hard at work filming for his role in "What is Mom."

He will be playing the role of Myungsoo, who is a handsome and studious boy interested in his studies rather than his social life. He will have a romance with his childhood friend Ji Hae, played by Suh I An.

At the press conference L stated, "Since I started acting, I want to become the best actor among IFINITE members."

He added, "I have shown myself as a singer, but now I wish to show everyone my skills as an actor through this opportunity. Other INFINITE members didn't give me any particular advice. However they have shown me their support."

"What is Mom" sitcom will premiere on October 8 as a follow-up to sitcom "Standby."
