Actor Lee Jun Ki won first place in the Hallyu category at the 'Skapa Awards 2012'.

He won first place with his own production on Mnet Japan called, "Lee Jun Ki's JG STYLE!"

This award ceremony took place on September 27 and the winners were voted through a regular voting system. This is the fifth year this ceremony has taken place.

This program that Lee Jun Ki produced himself is about his daily life, similar to a documentary. 

Even with the 'Dokdo crisis' that has happened recently, Lee Jun Ki's popularity does not seem to die down. 

Lee Jun Ki was unfortunately not able to attend the awards ceremony due to the filming of his current drama, "Arang and the Magistrate." He did make a video expressing his gratitude for winning. In the video, he commented, "I am so honored to receive this award. It is all because of the fan's support. I wish I was there myself to say thank you and I apologize for not being there. I hope to visit soon to see all my fans."
