Lifetime and CBS have both announced that they will be airing one hour specials to remember Whitney Houston.

Lifetime's special will reveal never before seen family pictures and thoughts from Houston's family and friends. CBS will be showing special performances by Jennifer Hudson, Usher and Celine Dion.

CBS's special is working with Recording Academy, who owns the Grammy Awards as well as the "Death story" of Houston.

Houston died just hours before the live Grammy awards. Almost 40 million viewers watched the show, the biggest audience in 3 decades.

CBS will also reveal highlights from her career through never before seen interviews and footage.

CBS's special will also help Recording Academy rolling for their Christmas album business.
