TVXQ Celebrate 4000th Day Since Debut With Special Concert In Seoul

In celebration of nearly eleven years together, SM Entertainment duo TVXQ held two concerts in Seoul.

On December 6, TVXQ kicked off to commemorate 4000 days since TVXQ debuted as a five member group on December 26, 2003. The "TVXQ! Special Live Tour - T1ST0RY" is TVXQ's first solo concert in South Korea in two years, with the name combining the group's name, the word "history" and the 10 years that TVXQ has been supported by fans.

T1ST0RY sold out of 24,000 tickets the day that they went on sale.

During the concert, TVXQ performed new songs, including all of the tracks off of "TENSE," the duo's latest Korean album. Members Yunho and Changmin celebrated the anniversary through musical-styled performances and unique solo stages.

Yunho and Changmin greeted the fans warmly. At the start of the concert Yunho said, "I was very surprised how warm it is from the very beginning. Because you give us lots of love I feel good."

Changmin reportedly made the audience laugh by introducing himself not as a TVXQ but "best friend of [Super Junior's] Kyuhyun whose 'At Gwanghwamun' recently topped #1 on the digital charts."

During one solo performance, Changmin went shirtless and discussed his fitness routine, adding that he hadn't drunk alcohol the month before in preparation. He asked TVXQ's fans to take care of him. Yunho later expressed his desire to continue on as a group that broke records.

TVXQ also performed many old songs, including songs that TVXQ released when it was a five member group such as "Love In The Ice" and "Rising Sun."

In 2009, three members of TVXQ, Junsu, Yoochun and Jaejoong, filed a lawsuit against SM Entertainment and left the group. They later formed JYJ. At its heights, TVXQ was the most popular act in Asia. After a two year hiatus, TVXQ returned to the Korean music scene with two members in 2011.

JYJ also recently held concerts in Seoul, where the trio performed songs previously performed by the five-members of TVXQ.

Along with the tour dates in Seoul, TVXQ will bring "T1ST0RY" to Taiwan and China.
