The highly anticipated wedding of Lance Bass and his fiancé Michael Turchin will take place in just a few weeks on Dec. 20.

Not only will the nuptials air on TV, but Bass just revealed that the happy occasion will also serve as a reunion for his former 'N SYNC bandmates.

The 90-minute televised wedding special, called " Lance Loves Michael: The Lance Bass Wedding," will reportedly air on E! on Feb. 5^th at 8 p.m.

"I could not be more excited right now," Bass, 35, told E! News in a recent interview. "This is a day that you look forward to your whole, entire life. This is supposed to be the best day of your life and I can't believe it's happening right now."

Turchin added, "We are so excited, we've been waiting for awhile, we're beyond excited," added Michael. 

Fans worldwide are already buzzing about the event, which some are calling the "gay wedding of the decade" since it will be the first marital ceremony between two men to be televised.

"It's spectacular that people care that much, one just about our wedding, it's so special that people care. But two, that people are so excited about a gay wedding," said Bass. "To know that people are excited to see something like this go down just shows you how much things have changed and we're just honored to be a part of that change."

Bass also explained that he hopes his wedding will help others who are struggling with their sexuality to accept themselves.

"As a little kid from Mississippi, I would have loved to have seen something like this on my television because there's a lot of little kids out there in small towns that need something like this," Bass told E! News.

As for the 'N SYNC reunion, Bass confirmed that it's definitely on, although there will be one member missing.

"Of course the boys are going to be there, unfortunately Justin's not going to be able to go because that's his last date on tour and I had no idea he'd be touring right next to Christmas. He'll be the only guy not able to make it that day," explained Bass. "I couldn't imagine getting married without those boys being right there!"
