Fuse TV has chosen group WINNER as one of the top breakout artists of 2014.

On December 9, Fuse TV released their Best of 2014 13 Top Breakout Artists of 2014 list and revealed that group WINNER was one of the artists on the list.

Fuse TV claims that this quintet has become “K-Pop’s international breakout” with their debut album 2014 S/S. They ranked in the Top 10 on the Billboard World Albums Chart as well which was a “rare ranking for any Korean act.”

Fuse TV also claimed that audiences can expect new projects in 2015 and also requested that they hold a 2015 U.S. Tour.

WINNER was seen on this list along with other top stars like Charli XCX, Tinashe, YG, Kid Ink and others.

On the other hand, WINNER released the meaning behind their ‘WWIC 2015’ project to be a World Inner Circle Conference 2015.

This project is a special fan meeting type tour where the group will be able to interact and meet with their fans on a more personal level.

They released today there first location for their WWIC 2015 tour to be in Seoul on January 31 at the Olympic Gymnastic Stadium.

WINNER debuted under YG Entertainment this year and consists of 5 members. The members for this group was chosen through a reality-survival program titled, “Who Is Next: WIN.” Two teams competed against each other and were comprised of all YG Entertainment trainees. The winning team would be able to debut as a new group named WINNER. Team A won the show and was the first boy group to debut under YG in 8 years after Big Bang.

They debuted in Korea this past August and also made their debut in Japan in September.

Their popularity quickly escalated after their debut and topped many music charts and many iTunes charts in Hong Kong, Malaysia, Indonesia, Taiwan and more. They are hold the record for the fastest male newly debuted group to top a music show.
