Just in time for Christmas, Nike with its collaboration with the top NBA players in the league with their own signature series for Kevin Durant, LeBron James and Kobe Bryant, has recently introduced their Christmas versions of each shoe. For the Kobe 9, Nike released a "Knit Stocking" colorway matched with a white and red theme, mirroring a candy cane, with its elite features, namely a flyknit upper.

The insole of the shoe features a green foot bed to compliment a red shoe and a tag saying "Mamba's Greetings" at the back of its tongue.

Meanwhile, with what it looks like a healthy season so far for the almost 20 year veteran Kobe Bryant, he is about to reach another milestone in his career as he is a few games away from outscoring Michael Jordan's 32,292 scoring mark, which is currently third highest career points in the NBA. The Black Mamba is nine points away from being the third player in NBA history with the most points and all eyes are on him come Sunday when the Lakers will face the Minnesota Timberwolves.

In preparation for this, Nike, who produces the Black Mamba's signature Kobe 9 shoes is set to release a special colorway after a hint spread across the social media stating "Coming 32,923."
