In the Hong Kong leg of their 2AM Way of Love Asia Tour, the ballad group took answers from the media only hours before their concert.  The press conference was relatively in-depth, and the boys of 2AM indulged a very packed schedule for that day as they also attended a High-5 Session with their fans shortly after the press conference.  

During the press conference, 2AM impressed their hosts by speaking in Cantonese. The below is the detailed transcript:

MC:  Yes, they are speaking fluent Cantonese. Tonight, they will speak in Cantonese. Thank you 2AM! We know that 2AM have been to Hong Kong several times before.  So, are there any places that you (2AM) want to go to and any food you (2AM) want to try here?

Jinwoon:  We have been to Hong Kong before and now we are here again.  To me, Hong Kong is a nice place and what I want to do is to try more delicious food because I think the food here is really delicious.

Seulong:  Honestly, I, myself love shopping a lot.  I want to go to Tsim Sha Tsui because it's a good place for shopping. If we have time, we want to go there again.

MC:  After talking about Hong Kong, let's talk about the concert.  The theme of this concert is 'The Way of Love' and you (media) should be clear about it already.  How will you interpret this theme?  And what message does 2AM want to convey in this concert.

Jo Kwon:  It is our honor that we can have Hong Kong as our first station for our Asia tour. We are very happy and honored.  'The Way of Love' means the number of ways that we can love others.  We want to show our different images through this performance and enable people to know how many ways that a person can love.

MC:  Besides this concert, the members had undergone their solo activities.  Changmin has his theatre performance,  Seulong participated in a drama and Jinwoon has a rock image.  What do you (2AM) think are the differences between group and solo activities?

Changmin:  When we are carrying out our group activities, we do know what each of our strengths is. On the other hand, carrying out our solo activities made us show our unique charm distinctively.  There are good things when we are having solo activities but we can be stronger and more successful as a group.

MC: After your concert in Hong Kong, what is your place this year or next year?

Jo Kwon:  As you know, Hong Kong is our first stop.  Then, Thailand and Taiwan is next and other places in Korea.  It is our plan in the near future.

MC:  Because of time limitation, we will now let the reporters ask question.

Q:  You said you would sing a Cantonese song.  I want to ask which singer you are going to choose and why. Could you please demonstrate a few lines to us here?

Jo Kwon:  I want you to know it when the concert starts tonight because we have been preparing for this song for a long time.  The reason why we chose this is because it carries a deep meaning and is really meaningful to our fans.

Q:  When you did interviews for magazines, you showed us your muscles and your figures are really cool.  Are there any secrets of keeping fit?  Would you also show your figures in the concert?

Seulong: The secret is keep exercising regularly, no matter what.  Whether before having an interview or others, we just keep on doing it.

Q:  2AM is a group which can really sing well.  Do you know why you have so many fans in Hong Kong?

Seulong:  It is difficult to answer that or why we are better than others.  You can find the best answer when you attend the concert tonight.

Q:  Today is the eve of Mid-Autumn festival, will you celebrate it by playing lanterns and eating mooncake?  Have the fans given you lots of mooncakes already?

Changmin:  In Korea, family will gather and we will also make rice cakes to share with each other. It is a chance for the family to meet each other.

After the press conference as stated above, 2AM also attended a High-5 event with their fans. This was held at PopCorn in Hong Kong.  500 lucky fans were chosen to have the closest interaction with 2AM from the tour.

PopCorn was already filled with their fans long before they arrived.  When they arrived, fans screamed and shouted for 2AM. When 2AM was waiting behind the stage, the fans sang "I Can't Let You Go Even If I Die" which echoed around the mall.  Fans were eagerly shouting for 2AM to come out on stage. The screaming grew louder when they finally showed up on stage and greeted their fans with Cantonese. 2AM were happy to see the large crowd of fans and expressed that they were happy to spend Mid-Autumn in Hong Kong. The boys were surprised to receive a Chinese traditional lantern as their gift.

The event ended succesfully after all 500 fans got to high-five with 2AM.  One memorable fan was an old lady which shocked 2AM. This showed that 2AM does not only cater to younger but to mature fans as well.
