Aston Villa will face off against rival Manchester United on Saturday in a Week 17 match of the English Premier League season. 

Aston Villa, coming out of a 1-0 loss to West Bromwich Albion, is expected to be the underdog. The team is currently ranked number 13 in the league. 

Manchester United, coming out of a 3-0 victory over Liverpool, is likely to be the favorite of the match. It is ranked number three in the league. 

Currently, the top three scorers within the league are Sergio Agüero of Manchester City with 14 goals, Diego Costa of Chelsea with 12 goals and Alexis Sánchez of Arsenal with nine goals. 

The English Premier League has been accused of "excluding families from poorer backgrounds" in its selection of children who work as game time mascots. 

"I find it extraordinary that clubs which are getting so much money from TV rights then exclude kids from poorer backgrounds by imposing a fee," shadow minister Clive Efford told The Guardian. 

"It means that a certain class of kids will never be able to be a team's mascot, and that doesn't seem fair when their clubs are earning so much money."

Transfer rumors also surround the English Premier League: Liverpool is said to offer Karim Benzema of Real Madrid a £50m, The Telegraph reports. 

Both Benzema and Liverpool have yet to make an official announcement surrounding the bid.
