Nevertheless, Ann Kathrin Brömmel is still very much supportive of Bayern Munich player! She may even have helped to sell the left boot that sent the World Cup goal flying through the nets for $2.5 million!

According to NBC Sports, “Gotze gave the charity his left boot which scored the infamous goal for an auction to raise money. Exceeding all expectations, the boot sold for two million Euros, which equates to nearly $2.5 million.”

Ever since becoming Germany’s national hero for scoring the game-deciding goal at the Brazil World Cup final, Mario Gotze has had too much to think about. Not only did he have to live up to the expectation as a promising player at Bayern Munich, he also had to handle his model girlfriend’s reportedly growing pressure.

According to Daily Mail, when asked if she would like Mario to propose to her, Ann Kathrin Brömmel said “Yes of course! ‘We’re very young but let’s see.”

The German model added, “I’m not the one who’s going to ask! I see a big future with Mario!”

According to a previous article, he may be too distracted by his girlfriend Ann Kathrin to invest properly into his career.
