Tekken 7 PS4 Release Date, New Character And Gameplay; New Trailer Features Chloe Running On 60 FPS

In time for Tekken's 20th anniversary, Namco Bandai formally announced Tekken 7 release date, which is expected on 2015 and with this is a new character named Lucky Chloe. The announcement of the new character was revealed with a gameplay trailer, which is revealed below.

It was a bittersweet feeling for director Katsuhiro Harada about the new character after it sparked a bit of a shock for some fans, who didn't accept the addition of the new character. With the unexpected turn of events, Harada jokingly reconsidered that Lucky Chloe to be included in the United States version of the game come the Tekken 7 release date.

The reconsideration was only a gag for Harada for its cold reception from their American fans.

Tekken 7 is expected to use the Unreal Engine 4 for the game to add a next level feel for the fighting game especially that it would be the first time Tekken would meet the current generation of consoles.

"With Unreal Engine 4, we can rapidly achieve visual quality expected on next-gen platforms and go beyond it," producer of the game Katsuhiro Harada reportedly said.

"Not only is Unreal Engine 4 powerful and easy to use, but it also allows us to bring Tekken 7 to any platform we desire."

With this, Taka Kawasaki confirmed in an interview that the fans should expect the best quality in the game packed with a top notch quality game and out of this world graphics.

"As part of being the leader in the development of multiple free-to-play titles, I was also involved in the efforts to change the structures of the console gaming industry with the first party group of SCE, I hope to keep this going into (2014) as well."
