There are many elements that make a Japanese anime great: good story, well developed characters, and intricate animation are just a few. But as with films, a good music soundtrack can also make or break the strength of anime. In fact, it can be downright distracting if it doesn't really fit with the tone of the scene it plays behind.

There are quite a few composers known for their anime soundtracks, and Hiroyuki Sawano can probably attribute his rising fame to his work on popular series "Attack on Titan." Sawano has plenty of work that has since come, including the soundtrack for "Aldnoah.Zero." An all new trailer was released for the second season of the series with official subtitles that features Sawano's theme "&Z."

Earlier this year, Hiroyuki Sawano talked about his recording process for the "Kill La Kill" anime soundtrack, specifically about how he sometimes improvises in his music.

"Usually I compose music in my office, but this time I just took in the atmosphere in the recording room and played it out with my fingers onto the piano, without thinking about any specific themes," Sawano commented in an interview for his "Kill La Kill" official soundtrack (via Tumblr).

If even Sawano's improvisations are good enough to find their way onto soundtracks, it is perhaps certain that the young composer will have a long career ahead of him. Nevertheless, fans can check out his newest work for "Aldnoah.Zero" season two in the all new English subtitled trailer.

Anime News Network reports that the follow up season that was streamed on Hulu and Crunchyroll will retain its main crew of screenwriter Gen Urobuchi, director Ei Aoki, and character designer Takako Shimura. Main voice cast members include Natsuki Hanae, Kensho Ono, SoraAmamiya, and Sachika Misawa.
