"Gangnam Style" Psy has given the lifeguards their jobs back.

CBS reported on Wednesday that the city of El Monte had reached the decision of giving the lifeguards their jobs back.

Last month, the mayor of El Monte had fired the lifeguards who filmed the "Lifeguard Style" parody video.

To help these lifeguards, a support Facebook fan page was created with over 17,000 members.

Psy commented last month on MTV news, "I am a rookie in the states right now, but when I become a top star here, I want to help them. The lifeguards took their time to make that video."

Internet users commented, "I'm glad that they all got their jobs back" and "Psy has so much power."
