Actor Park Joo Hyung signed a new contract with JYP.

JYP revealed a statement on Friday that said, "We decided to take on Park Joo Hyung in order to focus more of an effort on our actor management department. He will begin his career as an actor in November with his role on 'Jeon Woo Chi' which begins airing in November."

Park Joo Hyung had acted as a rival to Joo Won on KBS' "Bridal Mask," and despite the fact that it was a supporting role he left a strong impression on the viewers and was casted in "Jeon Woo Chi."

"Jeon Woo Chi" begins airing in November after "The Innocent Man," and the drama is a fusion of history and fantasy and based on the story of Hong Gil Dong and his lover Hong Moo Yeon, who he loses and then plans on making revenge.

Park Joo Hyung joins Cha Tae Hyun, Kim Gap Soo, Sung Dong Il and many other very experienced viewers and he will become the rival to Cha Tae Hyun.
