‘Attack On Titan's' Wit Studio Releases New Trailer For Original Anime ‘Rolling Girls' Plus New Countdown Art [VIDEO] [PHOTOS]

The animators at Wit Studio will likely have little time to celebrate their new original anime series "Rolling Girls."

Because anime fans can be vicious, and an "Attack on Titan" season two hiatus is definitely not something they want to hear.

Nevertheless, for those who enjoyed the animation in "Attack on Titan," the studio has an all new series entitled "Rolling Girls." Wit Studio has released another new trailer for the anime, featuring the discovery of a mysterious power stone. Additionally, the latest artwork released in celebration of counting down until the premiere was also released.

Early reactions to Wit Studio's "Rolling Girls" anime trailers have been positive and mostly focused on the girls riding motorcycles.

"Hmm. Will give this a try. I like the voice cast and character design. Plus, y'know, motorcycles. It's like a ‘MOE' Easy Rider. (... Moe Rider?)," commented Rcsatcrunchyroll.

"Man that's a sweet bike," exclaimed FunkKlock.

"Babes on bikes, I'm in," said ParadoxSpiral.

Crunchyroll reports that key crew for the series includes Kotomi Deai ("Silver Spoon") who will direct, Yasayuki Muto ("Afro Samurai") who is the screenwriter, and Katsuki Kitada who will design the characters based on Tanu's original drawings.

Speaking of Tanu, the artist has released several illustrations for "Rolling Girls" in promotion of its upcoming release date. The sketches are available to view below.

Anime News Network provides the following synopsis for "Rolling Girls":

"10 years after the Great Tokyo War, each prefectures in Japan had split up into independent nations. Each nations are ruled by a prophet called "Mosa" and an army called "Mob" as they start to compete to take over other countries.

Four "Mob" girls from the Saitama clan, Nozomi, Yukina, Ai, Chiaya are ordered by their "Mosa" to travel around Japan riding their motorcycles to mediate multiple battles between nations and clans as they emerge."

The "Rolling Girls" anime is set to premiere January 10. Funimation will simulcast the series for North America. Here's hoping the series keeps "Attack on Titan" fans from demanding the second season any sooner than 2016.
