Tiger Woods' Girlfriend Lindsey Vonn Uses Twitter To Complain Of Her Lost Skis; Athlete Hopes To Inspire With 'The Climb' Documentary

Tiger Woods' girlfriend Lindsey Vonn took to Twitter to air her grievance about Swiss Air losing her skiiing gear, as the athlete hopes to inspire people with her latest documentary, "The Climb."

In a Twitter post, Lindsey Vonn wrote: "Well I arrived in Europe but missing my bags...literally lost. Hopefully I get them in time for the race. Thanks @FlySWISS #needmyskigear." She also tagged the Twitter account of the airline.

About 15 minutes later, the official Twitter account of the Swiss Air responded: "@lindseyvonn Could you please send us the reference number of your lost bag to socialmedia@swiss.com? We will check if there are any news."

An hour passed before Swiss Air updated Tiger Woods' girlfriend Lindsey Vonn: "@lindseyvonn We have already contacted our Customer Service. They are getting in touch with the colleagues of the lost bag department. We will do our best to find your bags as soon as possible!"

The athlete seems to appreciate the quick response as she wrote: "@FlySWISS thank you!!"

But it didn't stop there, as Swiss Air sent another update: "@lindseyvonn just sent you an update via email, we'll keep you posted. Just leaving to the airport right now to help looking for it. Nadja."

Finally, the airline apparently found where the snafu occurred: "@lindseyvonn looks like @united lost it in EWR they are now looking for it together with our guys. Keep you updated, Nadja."

Meanwhile, the athlete's road to recovery from her two injuries to compete in the 2015 World Championships in Vail Colorado is documented in "Lindsey Vonn: The Climb" which will premiere on NBC, said corporate sponsor and producer, Red Bull's, website.

The documentary will chronicle Tiger Woods' girlfriend Lindsey Vonn's journey "as she overcame two major knee surgeries, and remarkably returned to the top of the podium at a 2014 World Cup downhill race in Alberta, Canada, a critical milestone as she pursues more victories at the upcoming 2015 World Championships, in her hometown of Vail."
