During the week of October 13 to the 20, Hallyu trail blazes across the United States. Ushered in by KCON where MNET brought all things Hallyu to Los Angeles. When they say "all things Hallyu" they meant "all things Hallyu" as a daylong event was filled with all the fun every type of fan could ever dream of from food trucks to workshops. And of course, what is Hallyu without K-Pop music? The concert that capped KCON was testament to the high caliber of performances that marks K-Pop, with passionate stages from today's hottest up-and-comers B.A.P, G.NA, VIXX, NU'EST, EXO-M and 4minute.

The jet setting Wonder Girls, almost literally straight off the plane from Malaysia, sent their leader Sun to speak at George Washington University, where she talked about two issues close to her heart about Hallyu -- those of starting out in the pursuit of fame and dreams at a young age, and also the growing adulating, worshipping, style of fan culture. The Wonder Girls then toured the United States, with performances in New York, Orlando and Houston.

Pledis Entertainment also held auditions in the USA, scouting for K-Pop hopefuls.

Outside of the United States, one of Hallyu's biggest groups - Super Junior celebrated their 7th anniversary. While the hottest rock band on the block, CNBLUE, is at the last leg of their Arena Tour in the Saitama Arena in Japan.
