"My Daughter Seo Young" heroine Lee Bo Young has recently come to be known as a "guarantee" for viewer ratings.

Lee Bo Young last starred in KBS's drama "Man from the Equator" and she is currently the lead actress in KBS's "My Daughter Seo Young" and she put both dramas into the #1 spots for their timeslot.

Lee Bo Young played Han Ji Won in "Man from the Equator," someone who was vibrant and bubbly. However, in "My Daughter Seo Young" she plays Lee Seo Young, who is filled with hatred and animosity against her father and is a cynic. She has been getting good reviews for her portrayal of a very difficult and a much darker character. 

Lee Bo Young is definitely doing her job as the center of the story in "My Daughter Seo Young" and it is said that she is portraying the conflict between her and her father Sam Jae (Chun Ho Jin) with reality and very good emotionality.

Her management company said, "Lee Bo Young originally felt very pressured because she was playing a character who would really have to lead the drama but as the episodes go on, she is becoming more and more comfortable with her character. She's always analyzing her character and trying her best."
