Actor Cha Tae Hyun began his first shoots for "Woochi."

On Thursday, the new KBS Weds/Thurs drama "Woochi" released still photos of Cha Tae Hyun in the process of transforming into an invincible superhero.

Cha Tae Hyun plays Woochi, who is disguised as a lowly official for the Royal Secretariat during the Joseon Dynasty, and plots revenge. He will essentially be playing two different characters in the drama.

According to a production executive, Cha Tae Hyun's first shoot consisted of a three-hour production where he had to jump from tall rocks and diving into a waterfall, all of which he pulled off with passion and great energy.

In some photos, Cha Tae Hyun was really in character as Woochi, memorizing spells and flying through the air.

The drama "Woochi" is based on legend Junwoochi. He loses both Hong Gil Dong and Hong Moo Yeon (Uee), who is the woman he loved, and plans revenge.
