Morality in Media group is disagreeing that "Fifty Shades of Grey" movie is a "fairy tale" love story that deserves an R-rating.

Ace Showbiz reported that the anti-pornography watchdog has released a statement unflattering for the film.

The ratings "severely undermines the violent themes in the film and does not adequately inform parents and patrons of the film's content, executive director Dawn Hawkins said in a statement.

The Motion Picture Association of America gave it that rating for "strong sexual content including dialogue, some unusual behavior and graphic nudity."

But Hawkins said the term used by the association to rate the movie "does not account for is the coercion, sexual violence, female inequality, and BDSM themes from which the entire 'Fifty Shades' plot is based."

"Such a vague evaluation puts viewers at risk, sending the message that humiliation is pleasurable and that torture should be sexually gratifying," she was further quoted as saying.

The movie is an adaptation based on EL James' best-selling trilogy, which is described as erotic. Aside from Dornan it also stars Dakota Johnson, Jennifer Ehle and Marcia Gay Harden.

Dornan in previous interviews said that the film will not have "gratuitous sex scenes", and he will keep his clothes or pants particularly on most of the time.

Anastasia Steele will be played Johnson. Other castings include; Luke Grimes as Elliot, Christian's brother; Victor Rasuk as José, Anastasia's close friend; Eloise Mumford as Kate, Anastasia's best friend and roommate and Harden will play as Dr. Grace Trevelyan Grey, Christian's mother; Rita Ora as Mia.

Christian's sister; Max Martini as Taylor, Christian's bodyguard; Callum Keith Rennie as Ray, Anastasia's stepfather; Jennifer Ehle as Carla, Anastasia's mother; and Dylan Neal as Bob, Carla's husband.
