Access to international releases has created a somewhat frustrating situation for the avid anime fan:

More access leads to more abilities to absorb, but at the same time, fans may still be forced to wait for a product to be released.

Such may be the case for the new "Psycho-Pass" animated movie recenetly released in Japan. Earlier this weekend the official Youtube channel for NoitaminA, an animation block of programming on Fuji TV, began streaming the opening of the movie for fans across the globe. The opening features the song "Who What Who What" by Ling Tosite Sigure, and is available to watch below.

Fans who have managed to watch the opening of the "Psycho-Pass" movie have ultimately been impressed with the theme song by Ling Tosite Sigure:

"Oh YES Ling Tosite Sigure!" exclaimed Victorissocute on CR.

"Holy s***, that theme song is catchy," said Stark700.

Fans should hurriedly watch the new "Psycho-Pass" movie opening because according to Crunchyroll, noitaminA will remove the video by Jan. 19, Japan time.

According to Anime News Network, the "Psycho-Pass" movie, which premiered in Japan on Jan. 9, has performed solidly in the box office. The opening revenue for the cyberpunk crime drama was about $2.08 million. Ultimately, the "Psycho-Pass" movie took the number four spot in the Japanese box office behind other notable releases like "Big Hero 6" and "The Yo-kai Watch."

Anime News Network provides the following synopsis for the "Psycho-Pass" movie (SPOILERS):

"Year 2112, newcomer Inspector Akane Tsunemori and Enforcers Shinya Kōgami run into a man, a man that was the former mastermind of past incidents. This man was the object of Kōgami's revenge for his partner.

This man, Shogo Makishima, shook the very foundations of the system that supports peace and questioned the existence of justice. Before long, Kōgami executed his own justice on Makishima and secluded himself from the world.....

Year 2116-The Japanese government's begins to export the "Sibyl System" unmanned drone robots to troubled countries, and the system spreads throughout the world. A state in the midst of a civil war, SEAUn (the South East Asia Union, pronounced "shian"), brings in the "Sibyl System" as an experiment. Under the new system, the coastal town of Shambala Float achieves temporary peace and safety.

But then SEAUn sends terrorist to Japan. They slip through the "Sibyl System" and then attack from within. The shadow of a certain man falls on this incident. In charge of the police, Tsunemori travels to Shambala Float to investigate. The truth of justice on this new ground will become clear."
