With Kim Jung Eun deciding to forego the abortion, the couple began to show signs of reconciliation.

On the Monday episode of KBS "Ohlala Couple," Su Nam (Shin Hyun Joon) in Yeo Ok (Kim Jung Eun)'s body gets onto the table, preparing for an abortion. 

Old man Wolhwa, who has disguised himself as a doctor who conducts abortions, let Su Nam listen to the heartbeat of the child. Wolhwa says, "If you still believe that this is the only way, then let's do it." Su Nam looks at the baby through the ultrasound and its strong heartbeat.

He looks at the healthy baby and says, "How can its heart be beating already?" Su Nam begins to cry and says that he can't go through with the procedure and leaves the room.

When Su Nam began to feel the baby live inside him, he saw the world in a whole new light. Both his mother-in-law Kang Ja and Yeo Ok were happy about his decision and he begins to change slowly with the pregnancy. The harsh words and his behavior began to change noticeably.

While working as a hotel maid he says to the unborn baby, "You're a miracle to us both. When you're born, everything will find its place." Su Nam had decided that he will get his act together and stay with Yeo Ok.

However, Su Nam faints from overexertion and Yeo Ok falls from a high ladder. With physical trauma, it was forecast that the two souls may change again and the baby may face death.
