Singer and actor Lee Seung Gi is returning to the music industry after being away for two years.

Lee Seung Gi revealed information regarding his comeback to news media outlet News1Sports on January 15th.

"I liked Kim Dong Ryul as a singer before, and we began working on my album after I was introduced to him last year," Lee Seung Gi explained. "My work on my album was delayed a bit due to my drama and movie filming, but we started recording recently."

"The album will probably be released in March."

Lee Seung Gi further talked about his upcoming mini album Forest and the title song "Turn Back." "A lot of females really liked the song. From then, it became my goal to release songs that females like and this album will be songs that females would like to listen to as well."

Lee Seung Gi is going to contact his mentor regarding how she will have a task when it comes to the release of his upcoming single. During the interview, Lee Seung Gi revealed who his mentor is.

Lee Seung Gi said, "My teacher Lee Sun Hee has always been at my side, controlling my music career. The song writer does oversee the vocal directing, but there is no one that knows me as well as Lee Sun Hee does, so she is always by the song writer’s side to assist with the vocal directing."

Lee Seung Gi's previous activity on the music side was when he released his mini album 'Forest' on November 22, 2012. The album contained five songs; which are an introduction, "Return," "Forest," "Words of Love," and "An Invitation For Me."

While Lee Seung Gi has been preparing for his comeback, his recent romantic comedy movie 'Love Forecast' was released in South Korea this week. Lee Seung Gi and actress Moon Chae Won are the main cast of the film.
