Linkin Park 2015 ‘Hunting Party’ Tour Cancelled Because Of Chester Bennington’s Injury; Singer ‘Really Disappointed’ With Mishap

After months of preparation, Linkin Park has officially announced that they would be cancelling their 2015 "Hunting Party" tour because of injuries sustained by frontman Chester Bennington.

In a statement posted on the band's official website:

"Linkin Park regret to inform their fans they must cancel the remaining dates of The Hunting Party tour through February 14th, due to a leg injury of lead vocalist Chester Bennington. The injury requires immediate medical attention making it physically impossible for Bennington to perform."

It is still unclear on what the singer has been through to sustain his injuries but he clearly stated that he was really disappointed with what happened and that he really wanted to finish the tour.

"I'm really disappointed this injury has made it impossible to continue with this tour. The first couple of shows were just magical. We will truly miss not being with our fans for the next few weeks. Hope to see you again soon," the 38-year-old singer said.

According to a report by Billboard, Linkin Park only cancelled two shows for the meantime while the vocalist seeks medical attention but further cancelled the rest of the tour dates.

For fans who already bought "Hunting Party" tour tickets, refunds can be transacted at the point of purchase.
