Speculation of the successor of Surface Pro 3 is still swirling on, and it is rumoured to be unveiled this year.

According to Christian Post, the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 release date might be in the middle of 2015. However, Microsoft has not yet released an information regarding that matter.

Aside from the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 release date that most have been waiting for, we also gathered the latest rumours regarding the specs and features of the said device.

The Cross Map reported that the device might come in two sizes, an 8-inch version also known as surface Pro Mini and a 13 or 14-inch model.

The Fuse Joplin also added that it has been announced that the accessories present in Surface Pro 3 will be compatible with the new tablet, and the device will reportedly have the same dimensions and size as to Surface Pro 3.

Furthermore, a new Core M processor might power the Microsoft Surface Pro 4. The processor is said to have a long battery life.

"The RAM is expected to hit 16 GB and run on the brand new Windows 10 platform that will revolutionize that bridge between mobile and desktop computing," Gospel Herald wrote on its publication.

Moreover, Microsoft cited that Surface Pro 4 might come with an LTE capability, since it is one of the highly demanded features nowadays.

As for the price, Gospel Herald said that "some experts believe that the larger 13- or 14-inch model will retail for $899 while the mini model with an 8-inch screen will go for around $599 to give a better range of options than the Surface Pro 3 currently offers."

The Microsoft has not yet released any information regarding the rumoured Microsoft Surface Pro 4 release date and it specification.
