A few years after Richie Sambora parted ways with the band Bon Jovi, Jon Bon Jovi is rumored to hit the road and reunite with his former band mate for a possible reunion tour this 2015.

The two were said to end their long streak together musically in 2013, in which they were reported to not talk to each other ever since.

The two meanwhile once again reconciled allegedly online during the run of the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge trend.

Bon Jovi did the challenge then nominated his band mates including Sambora, as seen on the video embedded below.

The former guitarist of the band talked to Life Magazine and told his reasons for leaving the band.

"The Bon Jovi machine had to go on. I could choose - join or leave. That's hard when you share joys and sorrows for 30 years."

"There's no bad blood with me any more. I love Jon, and I still see the possibility of a return," he said. "There are just a few steps I want to - need to - take."

"I wanted to make my own music and I preferred doing a few shows with my own band. I said I wanted a break," Sambora says.

"It's hurt me that more and more untrue things have come out in the media. I just wanted calmer waters, and just do something for myself," he says. "We had just finished with another tour... (and) I saw a year of other priorities for me."
