TVXQ 'October Album King' with 240,000 Albums Sold!

TVXQ reigned as the album king in the month of October.

According to the Gaon Chart for the month of October that was released today, TVXQ sold a total of 114,956 copies of their newest album Catch Me in just one month. Combining the album sales from October and the previous month, TVXQ has sold a total of 246,838 so far.

Last year, TVXQ repackaged album "Keep Your head Down" had approximately 330,000 in sales. Also, the title song "Catch Me" from their Catch Me album ranked 71st on the monthly digital chart which is a significantly different from the album ranking.

Following after TVXQ, Psy's 6th album placed 2nd place. Last month, Psy's album had a total of 28,359 sales and 96,272 album sales in total.

Meanwhile, T-ARA's limited edition T-ARA's Free Time in Paris & Swiss had the most number of sales out of all the K-Pop girl groups, beating miss A's Independent Women Pt. III which placed 7th in rank.
