Rap mogul, Marion "Suge" Knight had reportedly turned himself in after being charged with murder.

According to BBC, the Death Row Records founder is held captive at West Hollywood in Compton, Calif.

He allegedly killed a man and injured another in a fatal car crash incident.

Knight's attorney, James Blatt, reportedly told ABC News that the rap mogul was indeed driving the vehicle - Ford F-150 raptor - that caused the life of TV actor Trey Carter, 55, and injured Cle "Bone" Sloan.

Blatt added that Suge Knight immediately surrendered to the homicide detectives after learning that he's under investigation for the murder of the actor.

In addition, Knight allegedly was not aware that he had hit the two victims, to which the investigating team is now reportedly looking for witnesses to testify to the incident.

"I hope they find both so Mr. Knight can be exonerated," Blatt said.

However, according to FOX News, a representative of Los Angeles County Sheriff's Departed has claimed that Knight was involved in a heated argument, while filming "Straight Outta Compton," a biopic about the rap group NWA.

After which, he reportedly went to a restaurant where the alleged murder happened.

In addition, Capt. John Corina reportedly claimed that Knight intentionally plot the hit and run in the restaurant's parking lot just before 3:00 pm EST.

"The people we talked to say it looked like it was an intentional act," Corina said.

Meanwhile, Knight's attorney is positive that it was an accident.

"...In an effort to escape [being attacked] he unfortunately hit two individuals," Blatt said. "He was in his car trying to escape."

Meanwhile, a relative of the slain victim, Terry Carter, is claiming that it was not an accident, that Suge Knight really did murder Carter.

"Hell no. It was murder," the victim's relative told TMZ.
