Netflix is shouting out to the gaming consoles saying that the next-gen is still not here as they've seen not much improvement on the games and that the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One should support 4K Super HD for their resolution.

Netflix, as reported by Forbes, is currently the leading provider of 4K UHD streaming videos and other content. The leading streaming company claimed that both consoles will give out 4K capability come Fall to support the outpour of new television sets expected to come out this year.

Sony, meanwhile, answered to the challenge that Netflix posted and claimed that they are still continuing with their plans based for now and confirmed the support for the newer technology is being considered.

"We remain committed to bringing leading entertainment features and services to the living room. Beyond that, we have nothing to share at this time", while Sony said "Support for high-resolution 4K output for still images and movie content is in consideration, but there are no further details to share at this time".

With all the reports of a PlayStation 4 slim being considered to be under development, are we going to see the new console this year?

As numerous sources predicted, Sony will definitely release a newer model since the current system would eventually require hardware upgrades to work with the current and upcoming technology.

Numerous "leaked" photos scatter across the web of how the new PlayStation 4 slim would look like. Some publications claim that the said photos are fake saying that the cooling vents cannot be seen on the said "prototype."

A slimmer and still slanted design PS4 slim is seen on the photo. With the slant design now on the side, the disc slot and power and eject buttons are situated on the side. USB and other cable slots are located at the back.
