K-Pop Crossover: Psy Refuses To Stop Dancing On Jimmy Kimmel's Music Edition Of 'Celebrities Read Mean Tweets'

Even in the face of a mean Tweet, Psy is willing to keep his "Gangnam Style" alive.

Recently on "Jimmy Kimmel Live," Psy joined a star-studded lineup for the second music edition of "Celebrities Read Mean Tweets," where musical guests read mean Tweets about themselves.

"'Gangnam Style is so f**king annoying," read Psy. "I want to shove a stick up Psy's ass so he can't dance anymore."

Following pop stars like Ariana Grande, Lady Gaga and Sam Smith, Psy ended the video with a comeback of his own.

"You can do it, but I still can dance," said Psy with a chuckle.

Maybe Psy's garnered a few more fans despite the negativity.

"Everyone here deserves to be hated, except Psy," wrote Gin Ichimaru on YouTube. "Psy is awesome."

Last month, the Korean publication Daum published an alleged comeback schedule for Psy's record label, YG Entertainment. The alleged schedule asserts that Psy will have a comeback in the second quarter of 2015.

Last year, it was reported that Psy filmed a music video for his follow-up single to "Hangover" which was expected to debut in August, but that has yet to surface.

"'Daddy' will bear Psy's unique humor and wit," said the blog YG-Life in July. "I expect that the music video of 'Daddy' will touch viewers, because the new song talks about the relationship between a father and son."

Currently, "Gangnam Style" is the most watched video on YouTube after debuting in 2012. Last year, the website changed its counter system in order to accommodate the large number of views received from the music video.
