Amanda Knox has made herself scarce as her murder case appeal ruling looms. Meanwhile, ex Raffaele Sollecito is reported to be looking more and more like Meredith Kerchere's roommate.

Daily Mail noted the resemblance as Amanda Knox's ex Raffaele Sollecito appeared on Rai1, the Italian state TV, "with his long-flowing chestnut-colored hair."

In the interview, Raffaele Sollecito again said that he shouldn't have been dragged into the Amanda Knox murder case appeal.

"If we look at the facts objectively, we'll see officers made several mistakes. Investigators never went further in looking at many things," he said. "I still cannot believe I might go to prison for something I did not do. I have suffered threats and pressures by investigators."

"They locked me in a room for 15 hours and questioned me for a long time, threatening that I would not be allowed out of prison."

In the interview, Raffaele Sollecito again maintained Amanda Knox's innocence in Meredith Kercher's murder, as he said that he's 100% sure the American student did not kill her roommate.

The two were found guilty in November 2009, but the appellate court quashed the decision of the lower court and ordered their freedom.

Amanda Knox was later sentenced to 28 years in jail while Raffaele Sollecito was sentenced to 25 years.

They filed a motion before Italy's highest court, and Amanda Knox's murder case appeal ruling is reportedly going to be handed down in March.

"She could be extradited to Italy if the Supreme Court that is currently hearing her case finds her guilty," Christian Times reported. "A verdict from the Supreme Court in Italy is expected sometime in March this year."

However, whatever is the outcome of the Amanda Knox's murder case appeal, the 27-year-old, who's contributing to a local newspaper, has repeatedly claimed that she won't go back to Italy again.
