UFC's Ronda Rousey Becomes First MMA Fighter To Grace Sports Illustrated; Champion Cries Over Anderson Silva's PED Use?

Ronda Rousey just recorded UFC history by becoming the first MMA fighter to grace Sports Illustrated swimsuit magazine. Meanwhile, the women's champ reportedly shed tears over Anderson Silva's PED use.

"I hope that the impression that everyone that sees the next Sports Illustrated swimsuit is that strong and healthy is the new sexy," she said. "That the standard of women's bodies is going into a realistic and socially healthy direction."

UFC's Ronda Rousey also confessed to being uncomfortable at first during the photoshoot since she's more used to beating opponents in the octagon than posing before the cameras.

"I'm not the best model in the world," she said. "I try my best. I had to hone in some acting skills to look comfortable. Hopefully they showed in the pictures."

But E! noted that UFC's Ronda Rousey managed to make a good impression "whether posing topless in the sand or showing of one of her signature moves from the ring."

"I was so happy to have this opportunity," she added. "I really do believe that there shouldn't just be one cookie cutter body type that everyone is aspiring to be."

Meanwhile, Ronda Rousey confessed that she cried after hearing about Anderson "Spider" Silva's PED use.

"I was heartbroken to hear that. I wanted to cry," the women's champ told Yahoo Sports.

On banning the use of PED among athletes, UFC's Ronda Rousey said, "People need to realize that is a weapon and they're bringing a weapon into the cage and they're making our sport unsafe."

"The day that a person dies in that Octagon and the person who killed them tests positive for performance-enhancing drugs, we're going to have our first homicide case. It's going to destroy the whole sport."

Ronda Rousey is set to defend her title against Cat Zingano on UFC 184 scheduled Feb. 28.
