Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 Specs Rumors: Device Reportedly To Use A Metal Frame And To Be Thinner Than iPad Air 2

The Samsung is allegedly busy working on the Galaxy Tab S successors, and the latest rumor of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 specs shows that the device might be thinner that Apple iPad Air 2.

The BGR reported that a report from SamMobile that the company is developing the second-generation of premium tablets to compete on iPad Air 2.

"According to the publication, the Galaxy Tab S2 models will be even thinner than the iPad Air 2, which is Apple's thinnest iPad to date. In fact, the slim profile of the iPad Air 2 was the subject of some of Apple's first commercials for the new product. The iPad Air 2 is just 6.1mm thick, significantly thinner than then iPad Air (7.5mm) and the iPad mini (7.5mm to 7.2mm depending on model), and even thinner than the iPhone 6 handsets," the BGR wrote.

Furthermore, the SamMobile cited that Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 might come with two options, which is the 8" and 9.7". The device is said to sport a metal frame for a premium feel.

"The device will be offered in two screen size variants - 8.0-inch and 9.7-inch. If you notice, these screen sizes are different when compared to the Galaxy Tab S, which is being offered with an 8.4-inch display variant and a 10.5-inch display variant," the SamMobile wrote on its publication.

Meanwhile, details about the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 specs have not yet revealed, since the South Korean giant has not yet released an information regarding this information.
