The social media app WhatsApp has new app which is the WhatsApp Video Optimizer that can send large video files.

The Deccan Chronicle reported that WhatsApp Video Optimizer allows the user to send a large size video file through WhatsApp.

"The WhatsApp Video Optimer compresses the video file, reduces the resolution of the video to help you send larger videos via WhatsApp," the Deccan Chronicle wrote. "One can even record videos within the WhatsApp Video Optimizer app and convert it into a file size that is acceptable by WhatsApp."

Furthermore, according to Zee News India has an option of converting single or multiple videos at once, sufficient video conversion speed, sharing video directly on WhatsApp after conversion, can record video directly from the app and an option to choose the encoding speed.

"For example, if you shot a 4K Video on a mobile device and even if it has only around 10 seconds it can have around 90MB. Without any doubt, you can't share that file on WhatsApp, but by using the WhatsApp Video Optimizer you will be able to bring the video file down to 13MB by just reducing the resolution from 4K to around 640 x 360," Fuse Joplin explained.

Meanwhile, as of now the WhatsApp Video Optimizer 1.0.0.1 APPX file is available for free for Windows Phone users only, and there's no information yet if the said app will be available for Android users.
