Elder Scrolls Online Xbox One, PS4 & PC Release Date Announcement At E3 2015 For Update 6 [RUMORS]

Bethesda Studios announced in blog post on Tuesday that they will be hosting an event at the upcoming E3 2015 Entertainment Expo in June, leaving many gamers wondering if they will make a release date announcement for the next installment of Elder Scrolls Online.

The game's developers have announced that the release date for the Playstation 4 and the Xbox One consoles is set for June 9. The company made an announcement via the Elder Scrolls Online blog.

Update 6 of Elder Scrolls Online is set to include a Collections feature, which allows gamers to organize their mounts, pets and costumes, Joystiq reports.

The popular Xbox One and Playstation 4 game, which was recently announced to be free-to-play, will include murder and thievery in Update 6 gameplay.

Elder Scrolls Online developer Matt Firor has disclosed that gameplay voice chats for the Xbox One and PS4 will be improved and fully integrated for compatibility with Xbox Live and PS Networks.

Several release date rumors for the game have surfaced, claiming the Playstation 4 and Xbox One game will be released on February 24, 2015. These rumors, formulated after the Microsoft Store posted the above-mentioned date with the game, have since been addressed.

"We haven't announced a release date," Bethesda Public Relations and Marketing manager Pete Hines told GameSpot.

"Beyond that, I can't comment as we don't comment on rumors and speculation."

Elder Scrolls Online developers have removed the option of subscribing to the game for longer than 90 days from their website," PCGamer reports.

Many developers of other game titles that have decreased subscription times have eventually removed subscription fees in general.
