The "2012 Melon Music Awards" first round of the online polls for Top 10 has been revealed.

According to the results, the Top 10 from round 1 are 2NE1, Busker Busker, BEAST, Big Bang, Psy, SISTAR, IU, INFINITE, T-ARA and Huh Gak.

It seems as if almost half of the top 10 are idols with a few solo artists.

This round 1 polls brought in around 700,000 votes and the Top 10 was chosen through online votes and music score combined.

The final top 10 that is chosen by December 13 will go on to round 2 to choose the Artist Award. The winner will be revealed on December 14.

The "Melon Music Awards" will be held on December 14 and will also be streamed live through YouTube.
