Finally, the much anticipated "GTA 5 Online Heists" DLC release date is confirmed by Rockstar and gamers can play it as soon as March 10.

"We are excited to announce that the launch of Heists for GTA Online is scheduled for March 10th. We know it's been a wait, and appreciate your patience. Heists will bring a brand new 4-player cooperative gameplay experience to GTA Online, giving players the chance to team up to pull off a string of intense, multi-part raids and robberies across Los Santos and Blaine County."

Rockstar further stated that they will make more announcements over the next couple of weeks. They also said that new features will come along with the Heist once they release it. Will it be the minimum level requirement to participate in raids? Stay tuned.

True to their promise, they released the game one month ahead of the PC version. Rockstar posted a few weeks ago that gamers will get their hands on the "GTA 5 Online Heists" DLC release date before the launch of "Grand Theft Auto 5" for the PC.

"Our apology for the slight shift in the date but the game requires a few extra weeks of testing and polish to make it as good as can be. Moving a release date is never a decision we take lightly and is a choice we make only when we know it is in the best interests of the game and our fans. Thanks everyone for your understanding and we assure you these few extra weeks will be worth it when the game does arrive in March."

Now that the "GTA 5 Online Heists" DLC release date is set, gamers are also hoping that the GTA V for PC release date, which is on April 14, won't be moved again.
