'Pirates Of The Caribbean 5' News: Construction Site Hides Movie's Secrets? 'Dead Men Tell No Tales' Actor Johnny Depp Bonds With Foo Fighters

Production has been closely guarding the Queensland set of "Pirates of the Caribbean" with the massive pirate ship being hidden behind shipping containers, according to the latest news on the movie.

Meanwhile, Johnny Depp bonded with the Foo Fighters during the band's concert in Brisbane.

Daily Mail published photos of the set where the ship's mast are barely sticking out of the container vans piled up on top each other.

"The larger than life sized vessel is positioned on the Village Roadshow studio set as it is prepared to be utilised in the coming weeks," it said. "Fitted with copious amounts of ropes hung from the top of the sails down to the bottom of the deck, two golden statues sitting back to back and holding bidents are mounted at the front of the boat."

Australia beat out Mexico for the right to host "Pirates of the Caribbean."

The Australian Government said in a statement that it's delighted to "have secured the high-profile fifth instalment in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise to film in Australia with a contribution of $21.6m."

Australian Attorney-General and Minister for the Arts George Brandis said: "This is a landmark deal with The Walt Disney Studios; this film will be the largest international feature film ever to shoot in Australia and will focus the world's attention on Australia as a leading film destination."

In other news, "Pirates of the Caribbean" star Johnny Depp traveled to Brisbane to watch the concert of Foo Fighters. And the actor, who recently married Amber Heard in the Caribbean, was already in character as he was wearing a bandana and the long locks of Captain Jack Sparrow.

"He looked like less of a swashbuckler from the neck down, wearing a jeans and a grey polo underneath a navy jacket," according to the report.
