Red Bull Racing Unveils Their Official Livery for 2015 Season; Formula 1 Kicks Off In Melbourne On Mar. 15

As Formula 1 nears the beginning of the season, participating constructors are one by one revealing their contenders for 2015 - Red Bull Racing has parted the curtains on their RB11 car, featuring their traditional 'livery' colors.

The four-time constructors champions debuted their RB11 at Jerez back in February unannounced and without the usual ceremony, the car came out of the garage and straight into testing in a black and white "camouflage" livery with the intent to hide the vehicle's aerodynamic design from rivaling teams.

The "camouflage" has been taken off the car as it was only intended to stay on the car during initial testing - Red Bull Racing has released images of the RB11 in its final livery for the season. The Milton-Keynes based team went back to their traditional colors of, yellow, red, and blue with a bit more of purple (on sidepods and rear wing) compared to last year's runner.

The team has published images of the car on their Twitter page using the hashtag #BackInColor.

"It's not the first alternative livery we've used and doubtless won't be the last - but we've made our mark in the last ten years in dark blue, and in dark blue we'll remain," Red Bull said on Formula1.com. "Those are the racing colours in which we've achieved great things. We're not the most traditional of F1 teams, but like the rest of the sport, we value heritage."

Meanwhile, Red Bull's Daniel Ricciardo experienced difficulties in day four of testing when his car came to a halt causing stoppages of other cars.

"We had an ERS problem in the morning but in the end we more or less did what we needed to do today," Ricciardo's exact quote from Red Bull Racing's official page

Formula 1 Season kicks off at the Australian Grand Prix on Mar. 15.
