Jessica Alba Hot For Vegetables; Actress And NFL Wide Receiver Victor Cruz Promote Partnership for a Healthier America

Jessica Alba is hot and she's encouraging other people to join her in a healthy alternative to get bikini ready this summer. Alba and NFL wide receiver Victor Cruz are pushing fruits and vegetables to promote Partnership for a Healthier America.

According to the AP, the Partnership for a Healthier America, along with Michelle Obama's Let's Move initiative, will attempt to rebrand fruits and vegetables with a new marketing campaign called FNV, which is a "hip" acronym for "fruits 'n' vegetables."

FNV will have its own website, YouTube and Twitter accounts that will feature celebrities like Jessica Alba and NFL wide receiver Victor Cruz telling about the benefits of eating fresh produce. The Partnership for a Healthier America promotions come from the marketing company Victors and Spoils, who also promotes Smirnoff, Adidas, and Coca-Cola.

"Obviously, our inspiration for all this was behaving like a big, iconic brand," Andrew Nathan, chief marketing director at Victors and Spoils, told the AP.

FNV will mimic those advertising tactics to push fruits and vegetables as cool alternatives to fast food.

Alba, who has two daughters Honor, six, and Haven, four, with her husband of almost seven years Cash Warren, rose to fame as a film and TV actress, starting with the SyFy series "Dark Angel" has become a successful businesswoman after setting up her eco-friendly home goods empire, The Honest Company.

The 33-year-old brunette beauty runs The Honest Company, which makes nontoxic, eco-friendly products.

Alba wants to build a giant consumer brand that makes products that are safer for the people who use them as well as safer for the environment.
