Honda Civic Type R 2015 Goes Under Production; What Are The Changes You Should Expect?

The All-new Honda Civic Type R 2015 has been whipping up its own storm amongst car enthusiasts all over the world, as it has been reported to be set into production already.

According to fans, former President and CEO, Takanobu Ito, has left a pretty impressive milestone into the company, as he was the reason why Honda was brought back into Formula One. Ito was also responsible for bringing back the NSX and the Civic Type R, and fans could not get any more excited.

According to Auto Blog, the upcoming Honda Civic Type R 2015 is set to be the most powerful and fastest hot hatch ever-made. The specs include the most powerful production engine made by the company, a 2.0-liter VTEC turbo four producing 306 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. This feature will give the car a top speed of 167 miles per hour.

Aside from the engine, the car is set to be having a six-speed manual transmission, and will also offer electric power steering. Brembo brakes for the 19-inch wheels and adaptive dampers will add to a better driving experience. An improved suspension built to fight torque steer and support hard turns is also a special feature included in the car's specs.

As to the interior, upholstering made of synthetic suede is set to facilitate maximum comfort for the driver and for all passengers. An aluminum gear knob is also placed for the driver's convenience.
