Floyd Mayweather Vs. Manny Pacquiao Prediction: Boxing Legend Mike Tyson Picks Pacquiao To Win; Says Floyd's Defensive Stance Won't Work Against Pac-Man

Former world heavyweight champion Mike Tyson believes Manny Pacquiao will surprise Floyd Mayweather and eventually overwhelm the American boxer when the two fighters finally meet on May 2 in Las Vegas.

Mike Tyson posted a video on his YouTube channel and gave his prediction in the upcoming Floyd Mayweather vs. Manny Pacquiao fight, Floyd Mayweather needs to go toe to toe against Manny Pacquiao instead of his routinary defensive stance:

"When you think of the two fighters, Manny Pacquiao is the type of boxer who Floyd Mayweather will have a hard time with. Pacquiao had difficulties with opponents throwing over a hundred punch like Bradley and Marquez, while Mayweather is more like the scientific, defensive boxer who have the tendency to cover himself instead of attacking. Floyd Mayweather HAS TO FIGHT. He needs to trade punches with Manny Pacquiao in order to win this one"

Meanwhile, Pacquiao's coach Freddie Roach believes it will give them a huge advantage since Floyd Mayweather Jr.'s trainer is his father, Floyd Sr. in an interview with Rappler

"Luckily Roger won't be running the corner for Floyd, his dad is in the corner. I think Floyd Sr makes it an easier fight for us."

"The dad's not as good a trainer, he's not as good a fighter. He keeps telling me how great he is, but it takes him 10 minutes to say one word in the corner.

"Roger is the better fighter, Roger is the better trainer. Roger has more wins with Floyd than anybody. I think it's a huge mistake getting rid of Roger and going with his Dad. I love his Dad in the corner."

Roach is referring to Roger Mayweather, who was Floyd Mayweather Jr's trainer for 13 years. In 2013, Floyd switched to his dad for guidance.

Despite his statements, he praises Floyd Mayweather Jr. as a boxer and implies that Manny should not take him lightly.

"One thing about Floyd, he is a self made fighter. Nobody taught him how to fight. He grew up in the gym, he grew up a fighter, and that's where he learned to fight." Roach said.
