Rumors On Tiger Woods' Suspension Over Failed Drug Test Not True; Girlfriend Lindsey Vonn Slams Race Conditions In Bulgaria

Tiger Woods is not suspended allegedly after failing a drug test, his agent and the PGA Tour have confirmed.

In a statement, Ty Votaw, the executive vice president of the PGA Tour, said, "There is no truth whatsoever to these claims. We categorically deny these allegations."

The golfer's agent, Mark Steinberg, also released a statement that read, "These claims are absolutely, unequivocally and completely false. They are unsourced, unverified and completely ridiculous. The PGA Tour has confirmed that there is no truth to these claims."

The whole Tiger Woods' drug test controversy was started by professional golfer Dan Olsen who revealed in an interview, "I heard he's on a month's suspension. ... It's kind of a strong witness. It's a credible person who is telling me this."

Later, he retracted the failed drug test rumors on Tiger Woods as he told ESPN that what he said on the interview "was only my opinion and not based on any firsthand knowledge or facts."

"I want to make a full retraction to everything I said for the entire radio interview, and I apologize to Tiger, Nike, Phil [Mickelson], [commissioner] Tim Finchem and the PGA Tour," he added.

The Washington Post reported that Tiger Woods has announced an indefinite leave from the game because his game "needs a lot of work."

"Among his many injuries over the last few years, he underwent a microdiscectomy last spring. He was withdrawn from play three times because of an injury and no longer ranks among the world's top 70 players," The Post said.

Meanwhile, Tiger Woods' girlfriend Lindsey Vonn slammed the organizers in Bulgaria for allowing skiers to race even in very foggy conditions.

"I don't think the conditions were safe enough to be racing -- for the fog and also the snow conditions ... I said the fact we were racing in those conditions was a joke," Linsey Vonn said.

"I'm just a bit frustrated with the FIS and their approach to safety ... I'm trying to make sure that athletes are safe and hopefully someone is listening to me at some point," Tiger Woods' girlfriend added.
